It was the result of founders Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson and Bobby Stuckey’s culinary travels throughout Italy and years of fine dining experience. Now, they're opening a second Pizzeria Locale with a simplified menu and a revolutionary oven, cooking pizzas to a blistered perfection in under two minutes.

Lachlan has followed his passion for cooking from his start in Missouri to some of the best restaurants in Europe and the United States. He joined Bobby in Boulder in 2003 to pursue their vision for opening Frasca Food & Wine, a neighborhood restaurant reminiscent of the frascas they visited in Italy. Continuing to explore these Italian traditions, they opened Pizzeria Locale Boulder in 2011.
bobby stuckey
Bobby began his career in Arizona before moving to Aspen in 1995 to become the sommelier at Little Nell. He continued at the French Laundry as Wine Director until helping open Frasca Food & Wine in 2003. A decade later, Bobby and his wine team won the James Beard Award for “Outstanding Wine Service.” For the wine program at Pizzeria Locale, Bobby has selected two simply refreshing wines that pair nicely with pizza and presents them on tap.
